Parents have told me that they would like to be more involved in their child’s education and in the life of the school. As a result, we will be introducing Workshop Wednesdays, where we will be covering a range of topics we feel parents would benefit from or that parents have specifically requested. Please see the table to find out when workshops will be taking place, the theme, the target year group and who will be delivering each session. It would be great to see as many of you at the workshops as possible!
The school is excited to be able to continue its relationship with Harrow Family Learning and offer two new courses! The school will be running a Talk English group which aims to support new English speakers so that they can access all the facilities that are on offer in the local area as well as support inclusion and integration in the community. This will be an 8-week course running between 20TH May to the 22ND of July on Monday mornings The second course will be a basic Computing/IT course which will teach participants how to use many simple functions on computers and different technologies; this will enable greater communication and be an important set of skills that can be added to CVs and job applications. This will also be an 8-week course run on Tuesdays starting from the 4TH of June and ending on the 23RD of July If you, a friend or family member is interested in joining the group please contact Mr Williamson via the office or email email@example.com
