We would like to welcome all parents/guardians and children back to the 2020/21 school year after a long break due to the pandemic. We are awaiting government guidance but hoping that we are able to resume some events with safety measures in place. As a community we have enjoyed getting together to raise money for our school and we are hopeful these exciting events will continue as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, F.O.R.C will be working on alternative forms of events to kickstart this new school year.

In March 2020, Friends of Roxbourne Community became a charity organisation. This is a fantastic achievement, as it allows us to have access to greater fundraising opportunities and raise large funds that can have a significant impact on our school. This is the start of an exciting journey for FORC as we work with school to access these opportunities.
FORC Meeting & AGM
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting in the autumn term. The date and time is yet to be confirmed. Please keep an eye out for communication from the school office.
All parents and staff are welcome to attend.
Past Events - 2019/20 School Year
Annual Halloween event: which was a great success, with games, good food and fireworks to round off the night.
Winter Fair: to celebrate the 2019 Christmas holidays. It was filled with cheer, food, hot drinks and games and was enjoyed by all who attended.
Our first Disco took place in February 2020 after school hours alongside a non-uniform day.
The pandemic unfortunately stopped us from running our annual and highly anticipated Summer Fair.
Friends of Roxbourne Community - Who we are
FORC is the parents, teachers association for Roxbourne Primary School. Part of our vision is to raise money for the school through organised fundraising and social events and to support the school in catering for the wellbeing and enrichment of our children. We work alongside the school to achieve common goals, provide a communication platform between parents and staff and encourage community involvement by working with local businesses and charities.
Our members are as follows:
- Chair: Ayia Al-Asadi (Year 4 and Year 1)
- Secretary: Temilade Ashiyanbi (Year 4 and Reception),
- Treasurer: Sharika Vora (Yr3 and Year 1),
- Committee Members: Champa Jadva (Year 4 and Year 2), Nomaan Omar, Catherine Kumaresh (Year 2), Coline Grandin (Year 4 and Reception), Anne-Juliette Baudry (Year 4), Mrs Hulse (Staff) and Mr Benserghin (Head Teacher).
FORC membership is open to all parents/guardians. We always need parent-helpers who volunteer during some of the fundraising activities, parent reps are also required to support the admin of the whatsapp groups. If interested in any of these roles, please contact us on FORC@ROXBOURNEPRIMARYSCHOOL.CO.UK
