YR Pantomime Trip Thursday 11TH December 2014

Reception thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the pantomime yesterday. They discussed their favourite parts of the show in class today.

YR Parent Workshop Friday 5TH December 2014

Last Friday, there was a good turn-out of Reception Parents who came into school to participate in the activities relating to the children’s topic on castles and dragons. There was also an opportunity to talk about their child’s progress with the teacher and to discuss their next steps.

YR visited Roxbourne Park Tues 4TH & Wed 5TH November 2014

The children had an amazing time building a giant leaf man after collecting leaves and sticks. They looked at colours and shapes and talked about all things autumnal.

YR Parent Workshop Tuesday 21ST October 2014

There was a good turn-out of parents for this event. This half-term, Reception’s topic was ‘Builders and Decorators’ and the parents were involved in a range of activities linked to this subject. Everyone enjoyed themselves decorating the houses that the children had made.

YR McMillan Coffee morning Friday 26TH September 2014

This was very well attended last Friday. The parents were able to experience the children’s morning routine and thoroughly enjoyed the gingerbread biscuits that the children had made, together with some orange squash. Thanks to the generosity of Reception parents, £112.64 was raised that morning.
