Wed 12TH Dec – Public Speaking Parent Workshop

Why is public speaking so scary?

  • Do you freeze at the thought of speaking in front of people or a crowd?
  • Does the idea of an interview by strangers make you uncomfortable?
  • Do you panic at the idea of presenting anything or public speaking?

This is “a not-to-be-missed” presentation offered by a life skills coach who teaches children to be confident public speakers through the art of storytelling.

On Wednesday 12TH December I will be holding assemblies at Roxbourne Primary school for the children, before this I will also be presenting at the Parent Workshop from 08:50 - 09:20 where I will be sharing more information with you.

Kumon also aims to nurture a love of reading, to help children of all abilities cultivate a deep understanding and realise their potential. For parent who are able to attend there will be information about Kumon's Scholarship programme, which will be available to children of all abilities, to allow them to study Kumon free of charge for 24 months!

Ramadan 2018

A letter was sent home earlier this week, to notify families who might be observing Ramadan of the school’s position on fasting. If you are considering allowing your child to fast, please ensure permission slips are returned to school on Monday and please consider half-day fast (until morning break time at 10:25 or lunchtime at 12:00). Finally, we wish everyone observing Ramadan a blessed time of fasting. Ramadan Mubarak!
